Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of concrete construction, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.Knowledge of administrative tools and systems (company reports and applicable paperwork).Strong knowledge of scheduling and planning.Read drawings and interpret specifications.Working knowledge of collective agreements and company policies.Company and project safety programs and objectives.Experienced and comprehends concrete construction techniques with the ability to precisely layout jobsite foundations/wall/sites scope and objectives.Five (5) or more years’ experience as a qualified, competent lead person.Review quality and coordinate resolution to any deficiencies.Oversees the execution of work including quality and production by ensuring crew work to the job specifications and follow drawings.Responsible for implementing work processes to improve productivity and product quality.Accountable for ensuring that work completed meets and/or exceeds company standards.Assesses crew skills to be able to coach and teach.Effectively communicates orally and in writing with good comprehension.Communicate and coordinate with other trades to avoid and resolve job site conflicts.Identifies, verifies, and reports any scheduling conflicts with other crews and contractors to the appropriate personnel.Works with the crew to overcome work challenges with effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.Ensures crew compliance with project policies and procedures.Identifies needs and deficiencies in the look ahead plan/schedule and communicates with the General Superintendent.Reviews and tracks weekly job cost and production along with General Superintendent.Recognizes, addresses, and resolves issues as they arise on the job site.Communicates with the General Superintendent regarding all aspects of the job.Orders manpower as required through the General Superintendent.Ensures timely responses, actions, and corrections to any safety issues/needs.Participates in and monitors “safety toolbox meetings.”.Most importantly, work with Yoe Construction because of our values: Generous Travel Benefits & Flexible Scheduling.Yoe fosters a fun, engaging company culture that rewards hard work and prioritizes safety and quality.
